Contemplation and action go well together if you know how to organize your daily life. One day of mindfulness every week is essential. The presence of the spirit within is our protection and an empowerment. This presence sustains us during the rest of the week as well. Become mindful of your breathing while you complete your tasks, while you eat, help the sick, etc. Religion touches on this. However, most times narrow, fundamentalist, and dogmatic practices always alienate people, especially those who are suffering. We have to remind ourselves of our original purpose, original teachings and intention of Spirit-Love therefore being mindful in everything we do and say.
